Fall Semester (Updated)

I'm headed to campus after work today to work with an advisor on filing my degree plan (finally). I'm still kicking myself for dropping a class last Spring and for not working through the Summer I session. I would be finished by Christmas if I hadn't done that. But it is what it is. It's definitely humbling.

For the Fall semester, it would appear that I'm going to have to take four classes. It also appears that my "computer course" that (allegedly) transferred in previously is no longer going to be honored. So I have to take another one. Big deal. However, that makes next semester look like this:

  • Anthropology 2346: Cultural Anthropology
  • Biology 1408: Biology for Non-Science Majors
  • Computer Science 1300: Introduction to Computers*
  • Cultural Studies 2370: Intercultural Competence*

Two of these classes are fast track* courses. One at the beginning of the semester and one at the end that starts three days after the first one is over. That gives me two full semester courses and really only three courses at any one time to minimize the load overall. Given that I am going to royally suck at Biology, it will definitely help to not be overloaded while trying to find my penis from my femur. (That was crude. Sorry. I really do know where my femur is...)

That leaves a mere three classes for the Spring—Speech (again), Advanced Humanities, and Physics—and I'll be done with this first stage of the Evul Master Plan to Take Over the World.
