I didn't ask for anything from the State. I assume it's an automatic thing when you apply for education grants. But it wasn't on my grant award letter the other day. And it is now.
$500 per semester for Fall 2008/Spring 2009 (which makes up for the lost $1000). That covers most if not all of my books for both semesters. Given that I already have the text for the standard Speech class (when I take it again finally) I don't have to buy that one. I would imagine that my science books/labs will be a bit pricey, but this takes a huge burden off my finances for school.
Holy crap! And I only went out there to change my bank information around for the disbursement. I just popped over to check the timing and fund amounts again. Wow. Wow!
